Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, as a comment, and am sorry if I have offended the protocol on this site. Need help in determining rights in compilations of test results published from 1948 to 1953 in a popular magazine. The magazine is popular now, but was first started in 1947. I am really just focused on the simple thing -- registration and renewal -- and, for this purpose the "underlying facts" issue re test results being mere data, and the "contributor" issue are not likely issues. The periodical has since been bought, sold, and bought again by large publishing concerns which have been religious in filing since then.

I was issued the U.S. copyrightfor ECO BIRD
