I've been asked whether or not it is a copyright infringement for a library patron to make a copy of a library CD and put it on his/her computer or MP3 player. I can't seem to find anything definitive. Maybe its okay if they delete it from the computer and MP3 player when they return the library CD. Maybe it's okay as long as they don't provide copies to any other person. I hope that it will not take something like this court case to make it clear.
