On 29 September, the U.S. Senate confirmed "Mary Minow, of California, to be a member of the National Museum and Library Services Board for a term expiring December 6, 2014."
Clearly the movement to restore sanity is already having an impact. Congratulations!
Congratulations, Mary!

I know Mary as a library consultant with librarylaw.com, and so happy to know she will be now a member of the National Museum and Library Services Board. She deserves it!

Congratulations, Mary. I saw your parents at Northwestern yesterday afternoon with Gwen Ifill and they told me about this great honor.
I know you realize how very proud they are of you.
To refresh your memory, I am the reporter from Pioneer Press (Glencoe News) who heard you speak at Dominican University several years back.
Just wanted to congratulate you.
Best regards
